Man found dead in ute after fatal vehicle roll near Cooma in state’s south

A man in his 40s was found dead in his ute at Coolringdon, 17km west of Cooma, in the south of NSW on Sunday morning.

The ute is believed to have rolled a number of times when it crashed on Slacks Creek Rd, NSW Police said.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Police were called to the scene following reports of a concern for welfare.

“Police have received no other reports of injury,” NWS Police said.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
