Motorbike rider killed in multi-vehicle collision on Great Western Highway at Prospect in Sydney
A motorbike rider has been killed in a multi-vehicle crash on a highway in Sydney’s west, causing multiple lanes to close for several hours.
Two motorcycles collided with a car on the Great Western Hwy in Prospect about 12.30pm on Tuesday.
One of the male riders died at the scene, while the other rider and the driver of the car were taken to Westmead Hospital.

Motorists travelling westbound are being diverted using Blacktown Rd and can use the Prospect Hwy and Ponds Rd to return to the Great Western Hwy.
“Take care and allow extra travel time in the area,” Live Traffic NSW.
