Mum of four dies after ‘suddenly’ collapsing during F45 class in Griffith, NSW
A NSW mother has died after she collapsed during an F45 class in the state’s Riverina region.
Lumepa Amiatu Laweloa, a mum of four, collapsed “unexpectedly and suddenly” during a class in Griffith on Monday.
F45 coach Andrew Gamble, a friend of Laweloa, revealed the news through a GoFund Me page.

“The paramedics were called whilst Jess and myself tried our best to keep Lumepa’s chances of survival as high as possible.”
Laweloa died in hospital, on Monday morning, Gamble said, adding that because of the “sudden and unexpected” nature, she “never had a chance to say goodbye to her four children and loving husband”.
Gamble said she “always” had her children on her mind, even in the early hours of the morning.
Laweloa will miss her daughter’s 21st birthday next month and her son’s high school graduation next week.
Laweloa is also survived by her other children, aged 15 and 10.
As the Griffith community mourns Laweloa’s passing, her football team the Yenda Blueheelers RLFC shared a touching tribute on Facebook.
“It is with a heavy heart that we write this post with the passing of Lumepa Amiatu Laweloa,” they wrote on Tuesday.
“Mepa was a valuable player with Yenda League tag for many years and was always such a happy positive person who always got around the younger girls with great advice.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mepa’s husband, Maika (Tuks), her beautiful children, her mother Bella and her siblings Avita, Aipunalagi Lance and Neda. Rest in peace Meps gone but never forgotten.”
Meanwhile, Gamble urged people to donate to the fundraiser to support Laweloa’s family.
“Any donation would be massively appreciated at this time to help support the family, I know spare cash is hard to come by to donate and I fully understand if people can’t but any donation no matter how big or small would really make a huge difference,” he wrote.
