The couple purchased the house in November 2015 for $6.475 million.
Records show the property underwent significant renovations which started in 2019, including the addition of an infinity-edge swimming pool.
It was previously estimated the renovation cost the couple $1 million.
The project designed by Corben Architects saw another level added to the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home to take in views of Sydney Harbour, the headlands and the ocean.
The pandemic put the project on hold for a period before it was completed in 2021 and won a Master Builders Association award for additions and renovations in 2022.
The listing describes the tri-level home as being “defined by a streamlined contemporary aesthetic while paying homage to its naturally beautiful surrounds”.
Under the eye of interior designer Joanne Johnson, the property combines warm, earthy finishes such as solid European oak floors and timber cladding with limestone kitchen benches.
At the heart of the home is a vast open living and dining area with an entertainers’ kitchen that extends through large format stacking glass doors onto a porcelain alfresco space overlooking Balmoral.
The palatial master suite has an ensuite, a dressing room and a private terrace.
Each bedroom is fitted with custom-built robes and the bathrooms all include heated flooring.
In addition to the main house, the property has fully self-contained accommodation with external access.
Features of the home include a studio, an internal lift and a wine cellar.
The listing described the property as ideal for “families seeking a privileged lifestyle opportunity where luxury, privacy, functionality and ease-of-living are embraced”.
The median house price in Mosman is $5.73 million, according to CoreLogic.
