NSW primary school rocked by child abuse allegations

An investigation is underway into claims of child abuse at a NSW primary school.
The child abuse is alleged to have taken place at Willmot Public School, in Sydney’s west, between 2009-2011.
Shine Lawyers have launched an investigation into the allegations and are seeking to speak to anyone who may have further information.

The NSW Department of Education said “the safety and wellbeing of students is the department’s highest priority”.
“We have high standards for our employees and will not hesitate to take any action required,” it said.
“If anyone has information about historical allegations of abuse, they should contact the Department of Education and report the allegations to the police.”
“It is inappropriate for the department to make further comment on a matter before the court.”
