Rouse Hill crash: Man dead, child injured, after horror car and bus smash
A man is dead, and four people — including a child — are injured after a bus and car collided in Sydney’s Hills district.
Paramedics rushed to the scene of a serious crash on Sanctuary Drive, Rouse Hill, about 7pm on Tuesday.
A male passenger in the car, who is believed to be aged in his 60s, died at the scene.

The male driver of the car, who is in his 40s, was trapped in the silver Honda for some time before Fire and Rescue NSW used hydraulic equipment to cut the roof of the car and pull him from the wreck. He was later taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.
A four-year-old child with abdominaal injuries was taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead with abdominal injuries.
Two women aged in their 30s and 60s were taken to Westmead Hospital — the younger woman with chest and abdominal injuries, and the elder with chest and pelvic injuries — in a serious but stable condition.
All of the surviving passengers remain in a stable condition.
The bus driver was not injured, but was taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.
“The bus was not in service, and there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the incident,” NSW police said in a statement.
Police officers from the crash investigation unit are set to investigate the incident.
