Ryde: Man charged with murder after breaching AVO and allegedly bashing man to death inside Sydney apartment
Police have charged a man with murder after a vicious assault led to a man’s death inside a Sydney apartment.
The alleged offender will face court on Monday following the death of the man who was to have been critically injured inside the unit in Ryde.
Just after 5pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to the unit on Curzon Street, after reports of an assault.

The 48-year-old man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he was declared deceased. He is yet to be formally identified.
Officers attached to Ryde police area command established a crime scene and an investigation commenced, with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Following inquiries, police attended a home in O’Sullivan Road, Leumeah, about 2.10pm on Sunday, where a 34-year-old man was arrested, and a crime scene established.
The man was taken to Campbelltown police station, where he was charged with murder and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic).
He was refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Monday.
