Police have launched an investigation after the bodies of two men were found in a house in Sydney’s inner-city suburb of Surry Hills.

Emergency services were called to a property on Cleveland Street around 2pm on Thursday, following reports of a concern for welfare.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a man inside the home and established a crime scene. A short time later, a second man’s body was found in another room.

Police believe the men died at different times within the past month. Neither has been formally identified, but both are believed to be aged in their 70s or 80s.

A 63-year-old woman who resides at the property has been spoken to by detectives.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Surry Hills Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
