Two skydivers have been taken to hospital after a mid-air collision southwest of Sydney over the weekend.

The two men are lucky to be alive after they collided just after 2pm on Sunday in Wilton, according to NSW Ambulance.

It’s understood their parachutes became entangled mid-air.

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated both men on the scene for head and hip injuries.

They were taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.
