Two women killed in horror crash while reportedly returning from Lady Gaga concert in Sydney

Two women have been killed in an horrific early morning crash on the NSW Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to the Pacific Hwy near Wadalba, about 100km north of Sydney, shortly after 2am on Sunday following reports a sedan and a hatchback had collided.
The driver of the hatchback – a 45-year-old woman – and the passenger – a 38-year-old woman – both died at the scene.

The driver of sedan – a 49-year-old man – was treated at the scene by paramedics for arm and leg injuries, before being rushed to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene was established with specialist officers from Crash Investigation Unit called in to probe the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Both vehicles were seized to be forensically examined.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
The incident led to the Pacific Hwy near Wadalba being closed in both directions on Sunday morning.
The area was completely reopened to traffic shortly after 3pm.
