He was granted conditional bail and will appear before Penrith Local Court on April 4.
Jawad Ali, a 22-year-old international student who filmed the incident, told 7NEWS.com.au it was the first time they had experienced such an incident in their usually quiet street.
He and his four friends, who have been living together in the house since June 2024, insist they were not making any noise at the time.
“We don’t do parties, we don’t have even a musical speaker in our house,” Ali said, adding that he had given police permission to search for any musical devices to confirm this.
Ali said they were considering moving out in the next few weeks due to the incident.
The 22-year-old victim required three to five stitches and still feels dizzy and fatigued, his friend added.
Doctors estimate it will take one to two months for him to fully recover.
