Wiley Park house fire leaves three dead as police investigate blaze in Sydney’s southwest
A late-night house fire in Sydney’s southwest has ended in tragedy after three bodies were discovered inside the heavily damaged home.
Three people have died after a house fire tore through a home in Sydney’s southwest overnight.
Emergency services were called to a property on Cornelia Street in Wiley Park about 9.45pm on Wednesday following reports of a blaze.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews extinguished the fire, which caused extensive damage to the home. After searching the property, firefighters located the bodies of three people inside. They are yet to be formally identified.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner. Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
