Woman fighting for life after incident in Randwick, Sydney

A woman is fighting for life and a man is speaking to police after an incident in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services were called to a property on Randwick Street, Randwick, about 7.40am to reports of concerns for welfare.
Police arrived to find a 38-year-old woman with a severe laceration to her arm.

A 44-year-old man believed to be known to her is assisting police.
“Police spoke to a 44-year-old man at the scene who is now assisting police with inquiries at Maroubra Police Station,” NSW Police said.
“No arrests have been made at this time.
“Police have established a crime scene as inquiries continue into how the woman came to be injured.”
