A ready-to-eat slow-cooked steak meal sold at camping stores across Australia has been recalled due to the presence of an undeclared allergen.

On Track Meals Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of its Slow Cooked Australian Steak 200g meal.

The product has the best-before date of 30/10/2027 and has the batch number 504694.

According to Product Safety Australia (PSA), the product is being recalled due to the undeclared presence of gluten.

“Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” PSA said.

“Consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.”

Those who have purchased the ready-to-eat meal should return it to its place of purchase for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” PSA said.
