Savernake: Station wagon, ute collision leaves one man dead and five others injured
Six occupants of a station wagon involved in a horror crash had to be assisted by emergency services with one, a 19-year-old man, later dying from his injuries.
At about 2:45pm on Sunday, emergency services were called to the Riverina Highway, Savernake, following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Murray River police district attended and found a utility, driven by a woman, and a station wagon, with six people inside, had collided and rolled.

NSW Ambulance treated four people from the station wagon for minor injuries, with two passengers, aged 15 and 19, taken to Albury Base Hospital with foot and leg injuries.
The female driver of the utility was uninjured.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the crash.
The 19-year-old man airlifted to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne on Wednesday before police were notified that the man had died in hospital.
Victoria police have prepared a report for the Coroner and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
