Police are trying to piece together what happened after a man was killed when a car ploughed into a house in Sydney’s southwest.

Just before 12.30am on Monday emergency services were called to Cornelia Street, Wiley Park, after reports a car had crashed into a house.

For reasons still under investigation, it is believed a Toyota Corolla allegedly left the roadway and went through a fence, before crashing into the front of the house.
