Bruce Highway: Reported fatality after serious crash closes roads in both directions
A major highway is closed on both directions after a horror crash between a wide load truck and a car.
The Bruce Highway near Gin Gin is closed as reports filter through about the crash, with the Townsville Bulletin reporting there has been a fatality.
The crash occurred on the road south of Gin Gin near Redhill Farms just before 4am.

The highway is expected to be closed for several hours with diversions in place.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area if possible.
