A crime scene has been established after a man died in a home in Hervey Bay, north of Brisbane.

Emergency services were called to an address in Torquay Tce in the suburb of Torquay about 2.37pm on Thursday, following reports of a disturbance.

A man was found conscious at the home but was declared deceased shortly after.

In a statement, Queensland Police said a crime scene has been declared as police continue their investigations into the circumstances of the man’s death.

“There is no ongoing threat to public safety,” a spokesman said.
