Two young men have been stabbed during a chaotic brawl at a function centre in Western Sydney.

The fight broke out when around five people stormed the Sapphire Function Centre on Station Rd in Auburn about 10.15pm on Friday and allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old boy.

The teen was reportedly stabbed in the leg during the attack.

Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

A short time later, an 18-year-old man presented to the same hospital with stab wounds to his lower body.

Police believe he was also at the venue during the incident.

A crime scene has been established, and investigators are now piecing together what led to the fight.
