Pedestrian hit and killed by car at Rocklea as police appeal for information

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Queensland.

The forensic crash unit is investigating following the fatal vehicle and pedestrian crash at Rocklea on Monday evening.

Emergency services were called to Granard Road near Beaudesert Road around 6.50pm, following reports of a man being struck by a 2014 Subaru WRX sedan.

The man was treated at the scene for critical injuries; however, he was later declared deceased.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, and anyone who may have information that may be able to assist is asked to come forward.
