Pheobe Bishop: Police release bodycam footage of Kieren Mittelheuser’s arrest over teen’s murder
Police have released bodycam vision of the moment detectives arrested a third person over the alleged murder of Pheobe Bishop.
Kieren Daniel Mittelheuser, 30, is accused of being an accessory after the fact to the 17-year-old’s murder and interfering with the police investigation.
Pheobe’s remains were found dumped in the Good Night Scrub National Park on June 6, a day after her housemates James Wood, 34, and Tanika Bromley, 33, were charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.

Police believe Mr Wood and Ms Bromley drove the teen close to Bundaberg airport in their grey Hyundai on May 15, but no one left the car.
It has been alleged that Pheobe was murdered and her body was dumped in the national park and moved a number of times.
Mr Mittelheuser was arrested on a road outside a fast-food drive-thru in Bundaberg West on Tuesday night about 7pm.

The police footage shows Mr Mittelheuser standing behind a silver vehicle with its boot open.
Dressed in Hawaiian-patterned floral boardshorts, slides and a grey jumper, he is surrounded by about four officers as he is taken into custody.
Mr Mittelheuser has been charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder.
He is also facing unrelated charges of driving while disqualified, fraud and drug possession.
“It will be alleged the man used the victim’s mobile phone to interfere with the investigation,” Queensland police said in a statement.
The breakthrough came just one day after Pheobe’s family gathered to farewell the “free-spirited girl”.

In a statement to the ABC, Pheobe’s mother Kylie Johnson said she was “devastated this is something we have had to navigate”.
“This is absolutely everybody’s worst nightmare, however, we promised to get Phee home and give her a send-off that Phee would approve of and that’s what will happen,” Ms Johnson said.
Mr Mittelheuser is due to appear before Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
