Pictured: Teenagers killed in horror head-on crash at Glenella

Three teenagers killed in a horror-head on crash in Queensland were best mates who recently graduated from high school.
T-Jay Petrass, Liam Doumergue, and Ellie Cunnington, all 19, died when their Mazda 2 crashed into a Great Wall Cannon while they were trying to overtake a semi-trailer on Mackay Ring Rd at Glenella, a suburb of Mackay, about 10.40pm on Friday.
The teenagers were declared dead at the scene.

A fourth vehicle, an Isuzu D-Max, veered off the road to avoid the wreck and the driver was not hurt.
7NEWS.com.au understands the Mazda 2 was an 18th birthday present gifted to one of the boys last year.
A relative of Petrass said the group were on their way home after going out to get dinner when they were tragically killed.
It is understood Cunnington and Doumergue had previously dated in high school and had recently reconnected after she returned to Australia from a year abroad.
Tributes have begun to pour in online for the teenagers, who graduated from Mackay North State High School in recent years.
“R.I.P to me (sic) little brother T-jay and his best mate Liam,” Petrass’s older brother Jason Goodfellow said.

“No doubt still having a good time together up top.”
One of Doumergue’s friends said the tragedy was “not fair”.
“You were taken too early,” he said.
“I am honestly so lost for words. I always looked up to you as an older brother.
“Rest in peace my bro.”
Doumergue’s employer, Keen2Kill Pest Control, said he was known for his kindness, gentleness, good humour, and hard work.
“His absence leaves a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled,” they wrote online.
“Our entire team is heartbroken. Liam wasn’t just a colleague, he was a valued part of our work family.”
Locals say there was heavy fog blanketing the 100km/h stretch of road at the time of the crash.
Police are investigating whether the fog contributed to the accident.
Investigations continue.
