Frustrated Queensland police have released an image of a man they say has been exposing himself to strangers on a spree that has so far lasted most of the year.

The image of ‘mini skirt man’ shows the alleged offender running away, wearing nothing but a blue denim mini-skirt.

Police allege the man committed multiple wilful exposure incidents across Brisbane earlier this year and continues to bob up randomly.

At approximately 4.30pm on January 25, a teenage girl was walking her dog at the Sherwood Arboretum when she was approached by a man who was not known to her.

The man began patting the dog before exposing himself. He fled the scene on foot a short time later wearing only the blue denim mini-skirt.

It is believed the same man, wearing a similar blue denim mini-skirt, has also been involved in similar incidents across Indooroopilly, Sherwood, Camp Hill and Morningside in the past several months.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 185cm tall, aged in his late 30s to early 40s with a slim build, light-coloured hair and a beard.

Investigators are appealing to the man or anyone who may have relevant information, to contact police at Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000.
