Redland Bay: Police launch appeal for information as 12yo girl missing in Cyclone Alfred chaos

A young girl who has been missing in Redland Bay, Queensland for over two days has police conducting a franctic search ahead of Cyclone Alfred landing close to the area.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate the 12-year-old girl missing from Redland Bay since Wednesday, March 5.

The girl was last seen in Redland Bay at approximately 6pm and has not been seen or heard from since.

Family and police have concerns for the girl due to her age and current weather event.

She is described as Pacific Islander, approximately 150cm tall, with dark hair and brown eyes.

The girl is known to frequent the Brisbane CBD, Southbank, Fortitude Valley and major shopping centres.

Police are appealing to the girl or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to come forward.
