Slacks Creek, Queensland: Shooting sparks manhunt for trio after alleged targeted attack

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot in the leg during a targeted morning attack in Slacks Creek.

Three people on the run after targeted attack at Slacks Creek.

Police are appealing for information after a man was shot in the leg during a street disturbance in Slacks Creek on Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called to Kingston Road about 8.19am following reports of gunfire.

A 35-year-old man was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound to his leg before being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police say three offenders — two men and a woman, all believed to be in their 20s — were last seen fleeing the area on foot.

Detectives believe the incident was targeted, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area between 8am and 8.30am is urged to contact the police.

Investigations are continuing.
