Search resumes for man who fell into Brisbane River from pontoon at Jindalee
The search for a man who fell into Brisbane River and vanished, is resuming on Monday morning.
The 23-year-old man was reportedly with family and friends near the Jindalee boat ramp when he fell into the water just before 5.40am on Sunday.

Sunrise understands that nearby boaties could hear cries for help from the young man’s friends, and flocked to the scene to assist in the search.
Foot patrols, water police, and swift water rescue teams have since been deployed in the effort to locate the man.
“A couple of (the missing man’s) mates actually tried to help, but he slipped below the water before they got to him,” Queensland Police Service Acting Inspector Shane Thow said.
One man in his 20s, who dived into the water while searching for the missing man, injured his shoulder and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Queensland Ambulance said.
The missing man’s family members were also at the scene while rescue operations continued throughout Sunday.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact police.
