Woman’s death in apparent lawn mower incident on Upper Lockyer property reportedly being treated as suspicious
A Queensland woman’s death from injuries she suffered in what appeared to be a lawnmower accident is being investigated, amid speculation police believe the circumstances of the tragedy are suspicious.
The official police position over the fatal injuries caused to the woman in her 40s on the Upper Lockyer property, west of Brisbane, is that it is too early to determine either way if her death is suspicious or non-suspicious.

The paramedics on the scene reported the incident as an apparent “mower rollover”.
However, the Toowoomba Chronicle has reported that the death is being treated as suspicious and detectives and forensic officers spent Tuesday scouring and examining the scene.
A police spokeswoman declined to confirm the report to 7NEWS.com.au, saying it would not be possible to make such a declaration until after autopsy results are provided.
The investigation continues, the spokeswoman said. No one has been accused of wrong-doing over the tragedy.
Neighbours to the property have been interviewed by police, the Chronicle also reported.
A ride-on lawnmower was taken away from the scene on the back of a tow truck on Tuesday.
