An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over the alleged stabbing of another man in Adelaide’s northeast.

South Australia Police alleged the 18-year-old stabbed a 34-year-old man known to him in Campbelltown at 6.20pm on Wednesday.

They located the victim outside the home on Cedar Ave and rushed him to hospital.

Police said the 34-year-old man’s injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.

The 18-year-old was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.
