Former South Australian councillor accused of stalking asks 7NEWS Adelaide reporter on a date outside court
A 7NEWS Adelaide television reporter covering the story when a former local councillor accused of stalking appeared in court has been asked out on a date by the man, moments after he was chased down the street after leaving the building.
Ex-Onkaparinga councillor Robert De Jonge appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Tuesday, charged with six counts of aggravated stalking.

Lawyers for the former councillor said his three computers and mobile devices were illegally seized.
Outside court, 7NEWS Court Reporter Hannah Foord asked De Jonge if he would be contesting the charges to which he replied: “Of course, I haven’t done anything wrong, Hannah.”
Another critic of De Jonge’s was also at Tuesday’s court appearance and sarcastically laughed when De Jonge told the camera crew he had never done anything wrong.
He then chased him outside the courthouse yelling, “can you hear me now” and “let’s go boy”.
De Jonge sprinted away, before returning to where Foord was waiting in her camera crew car and asking her a bizarre question.
“You’re a nice chick by the way, if you want to go out?,” De Jonge was filmed saying.
“Anyway, I’ve got to go to the police station I’ve got things to do.”
De Jonge will next appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court later this year.
