Gruesome details have emerged after a former Beauty and the Geek contestant was accused of allegedly murdering her partner in South Australia.

Tamika Chesser, 34, was runner-up in the reality TV show’s 2010 season – now she is behind bars accused of the shocking alleged crime in Port Lincoln.

The body of Chesser’s partner, Julian Story, was found inside their unit after emergency services responded to a fire last Thursday.

Just hours after a magistrate revoked the order that prevented Chesser’s name and image from being published, police held a press conference appealing for help to find Story’s remains.

Police alleged Story was dismembered prior to the fire at their unit and are appealing to Port Lincoln locals to help find his head, which is missing.

SA Police Major Crime boss Darren Fielke said that there is no ongoing danger to the community.

“I want to reassure the Port Lincoln community that there are no safety concerns,” he said.

“We know that after his alleged murder, Julian’s body was dismembered, and while I won’t provide any further detail about that at this time, I can tragically say that we have not recovered the head of Julian Story.”

Police are appealing for anyone who knew the movements of Chesser in the days before June 16 to 19.

Chesser was charged with murdering Story between June 16 and 19, disposing of human remains to pervert the course of justice and assaulting a police officer.
