Neighbours came to the aid of the teenager who is now in hospital.

Neighbours rushed an 18-year-old male with four stab wounds to hospital after a vape deal had gone horribly wrong in Adelaide’s north.

The assault happened outside the victim’s home on Leon St in Salisbury North on Sunday evening.

Qassem Alharrari said he and his father heard shouting on their street and were shocked to find a teenager seriously injured.

“He just said, ‘Help me’ in a low voice,” Alharrari said.

“I walked up to him and I saw that his car was full of blood and his stomach was full of blood. It was a mess.”

The victim had wounds to his stomach and thigh.

Alharrari said he and his father drove the victim to the hospital, speaking to paramedics over the phone while on their way.

“I had to keep him conscious. I kept asking ‘How old are you? How are you feeling? Breathe slowly’ and all that,” he said.

The victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

7NEWs understands he may have been selling vapes when a prospective buyer attacked him.

South Australia Police believe it is not a random incident.

Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
