Swimmer hit by boat at Mannum airlifted to hospital, boatie charged
A local swimmer has been struck by a boat in the River Murray in South Australia.
The 20-year-old Mannum woman was seriously injured when she was hit in the water about 7pm on Sunday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Mannum, about 84km east of Adelaide, and the woman was airlifted to hospital, SA Police said.

She allegedly returned a positive alcohol reading of 0.142.
The 43-year-old woman was then charged with cause harm by dangerous use of a vessel, operate vessel without due care and operate vessel with prescribed concentration of alcohol.
She was refused bail and is set to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Investigations are ongoing.
