Young motorcyclist killed in Dry Creek crash identified as 19-year-old Nathan Anderson
The family of a young motorcyclist killed in a crash on a motorway in Adelaide’s north say they are “numb” after losing a “special and loving person” who always had a smile on his face.
Nathan Anderson, 19, died when he crashed into a guard rail on the Wingfield interchange on-ramp to the North-South Mwy at Dry Creek at about 4.30pm Thursday, police said.

Investigators initially issued an appeal to identify the rider of a red motorcycle, who was with Anderson before the crash. Police said he did not stop and never returned to the scene. He has since come forward to assist police with the investigation.
Friend Zaydon was among the many who rushed to the scene. “They have gone to overtake a truck from what we were told,” he told 7NEWS. “Obviously, the red bike has made it ... (Anderson) hasn’t.”
Loved ones said Anderson was an L-plater who had only been riding a few months.
His family told 7NEWS he was “such a special and loving person”.
“We are so numb,” they said.
Anderson has been remembered as a “joyous bloke who loved trying new things”.
“He was always smiling ... never really seen him angry,” Zaydon said.
Anderson’s death was the 65th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage that may assist the investigation is asked to contact police.
