Sydney Harbour Bridge: Man wielding meat cleaver on the run after threatening drivers during peak hour

Drivers on the Sydney Harbour Bridge have been left terrified and alarmed after a man with a meat cleaver wielded a weapon towards them on the road.
Police were alerted to the incident on Wednesday shortly after 6pm, with reports suggesting a man, driving a grey Subaru, was driving dangerously and wielding a meat cleaver towards other drivers.
The meat cleaver was later discovered by police and will undergo forensic examination.

The incident is believed to be linked to an incident in Barangaroo on Monday which left one man with facial injuries.
Around 1am on Monday morning, police were alerted to an incident involving a driver of a Subaru and a Toyota.
The two reportedly got into an argument before the Subaru driver exited his vehicle, kicked the Toyota and then punched it’s 21-year-old driver in the face.
Police are calling for assistance from the public, urging anything with information or dash cam footage to come forward by contacting Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
