Sydney traffic chaos: M7 closed after truck fire at Cecil Hills, causing major peak-hour delays
A truck crash and subsequent fire on the M7 motorway at Cecil Park early Thursday morning has brought southbound traffic to a standstill, causing significant delays for Sydney commuters.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Elizabeth Drive around 4.50am, prompting authorities to close all southbound lanes.
As a result, traffic has backed up as far as Hoxton Park, heavily impacting peak-hour travel.
