A manhunt is underway in Brisbane after a woman was allegedly stabbed in broad daylight.

Police were called to the Minnippi Parklands near Meadowlands Road in Tingalpa around 10.15am on Tuesday.

Initial reports indicated a woman had suffered multiple lacerations in an attack.

“Upon arrival, officers located a woman who is currently being treated for minor injuries,” A QPS spokesperson said.

Officers are now urgently searching the nearby area for a male suspect believed to be responsible for the attack.

The Park is located around 10km west of the Brisbane CBD.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
