The body of a man has been found floating in the Yarra River in Melbourne’s CBD.

Police say the man’s body was found near Convention Centre Place, South Wharf — a busy shopping and hospitality precinct in the city — at about 9.30am on Thursday.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said the death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
