“Violent crime is serious. Stunts like these certainly aren’t. They will not deter us one bit,” she said.

“I acknowledge people have different views, but I am listening to victims of crime – that’s why we’re pushing ahead with Adult Time for Violent Crime, so the chance of jail is stronger, and sentences are longer.

“We want Adult Time for Violent Crime in place as soon as possible.

The Premier said MPs would not leave parliament this week until their Bill passed.

“At this point, the one thing stopping Adult Time becoming law is Jess Wilson and the Liberals – who could still block it or delay it.”
