Man suffers life-threatening injuries after allegedly being stabbed in Narre Warren South, Melbourne

A man is fighting for life following an alleged stabbing and car crash in Melbourne’s southeast on Friday night.
It’s believed a man and a woman were sitting in a car on The Esplanade in Narre Warren South about 10.40pm when a man known to the couple came up to the car and started assaulting the male driver.
Police believe the man was stabbed.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No one else was seriously injured.
Police attended a home nearby and took a man into custody. He is currently assisting police with their investigations into the incident.
