Police investigate death of motorbike rider after hitting trailer on Ballarat road
A motorcyclist has died after hitting a trailer in regional Victoria.
The motorcyclist was riding along Gillies Rd at Sulky, in Ballarat’s north, on Saturday when they hit the trailer about 3.45pm.
Police said there was a line of traffic on the road at the time, and the rider hit the trailer, which was being towed by a car, as it turned into a driveway.

“Officers are currently speaking to the driver of the car.”
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact police.
