“It is with such a heavy heart that we share the news of Courtney’s passing,” Kiana said.

“Mum and I arrived in Bali Saturday and were with her by her side right until the end.”

Kiana described Courtney as a “sparkling, shining star” and said the world would not be the same without her “vibrance and spark”.

“We know you have found peace, we know you have found happiness, but we will miss you every single day!” she said.

Bali was Courtney’s “second home”, Kiana said, so her remains will be cremated on the island.

“We wish to honour her and leave a part of her here,” she said.

“We will then return home with her ashes, to celebrate her life, Courtney style, in Melbourne.”

Tributes have poured in for the popular DJ, with talent agency That Sound saying Courtney was the “heartbeat of every party”.

“Today, we mourn the loss of an incredible soul who brought joy, energy and passion to everywhere she graced,” it said.

The exact circumstances surrounding Courtney’s death are unclear.

Courtney had 151,000 followers on Instagram and 25,000 followers on Soundcloud.
