Princes Highway traffic chaos: Melbourne commuters warned to expect 90 minute delays after truck rolls

The morning commute has turned into a nightmare for fed-up drivers after a truck rollover on a major artery, causing delays of up to 90 minutes.
All Melbourne-bound lanes of the Princes Freeway have been closed between the Princes Highway, Werribee and Duncans Road due to a collision.
Traffic quickly began to bank up for kilometres after the 4.20m crash, in which a truck flipped, triggering a multi-car crash.

“We urge drivers travelling between Geelong and Melbourne to consider their options this morning,” the Department of Transport said.
The freeway has sustained significant damage in the crash, 7NEWS reports.
A metal plate reportedly came loose from overnight roadworks just prior to the collision. Urgent roadworks are underway to repair the issue.
