Victoria Police search for missing registered sex offender Dylan Jones

A Victoria-wide manhunt is underway for a missing registered sex offender.

Victoria Police has been unable to locate Dylan Jones, 25, who failed to make contact after his release from government custody - which is a requirement of his reporting obligations.

Jones served time behind bars for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2020.

He is described as being about 180cm tall with a solid build, black hair, brown eyes and tanned skin and is known to frequent associates in the Heidelberg, Bundoora and Geelong areas.

Anyone who sees Jones is urged not to approach him and to contact triple-0 immediately.
