Wagga Wagga, Bondi Beach, Mole Creek: Three women killed in alleged domestic violence incidents

A third man has been charged with murder after three women were killed in one day in NSW.

Around 9.35pm on Saturday, police attended a property on Ironbark Road, Mole River, following reports of a domestic violence incident.

NSW Police said that on arriving at the home, which is located about 40 minutes from Tenterfield, they were told a 37-year-old man had allegedly entered a property, attempted to steal a car, and assaulted a 74-year-old man.

The 37-year-old was arrested and police went next door, where they located the body of a 70-year-old woman.

The house she was found in was partially damaged by fire.

The 37-year-old was later charged with murder and was refused bail to appear in court on Monday.

Police allege the man was known to the woman but their relationship has not yet been disclosed.

The news comes hours after NSW Police said another man in New South Wales was charged with murdering a woman in Wagga Wagga.

Emergency services attended a home on Ziegler Avenue, Kooringal, on Saturday morning.

A 23-year-old woman had been stabbed.

Despite attempts from paramedics and police, the woman could not be saved and died at the home.

NSW Police officers were told a man had fled the property before their arrival.

Around 8pm on Saturday, police arrested a man at a nearby home.

The 31-year-old was charged with domestic violence murder.

He was refused bail and is expected to appear in court on Sunday.

Police allege the 23-year-old woman and the man were in a “domestic relationship”.

Earlier on Sunday, police announced a 37-year-old man had been charged with domestic violence murder after the fatal stabbing of a 90-year-old woman at a home in Bondi Beach.
