Teenager accused of hitting man with his own caravan-towing-Ute at WA petrol station
A teenager has been charged over allegedly mowing down a man with his own vehicle at a petrol station.
The 76-year-old was struck at a service station on the Great Northern Hwy in Halls Creek, in the east Kimberley region of WA, about 10.45am on Saturday.
Police say he was inspecting his parked Isuzu D-Max ute which was towing a white caravan when someone jumped into the ute and drove off, hitting the man in the process.

A 14-year-old boy has since been charged with the theft of a motor vehicle and grievous bodily harm when stealing a motor vehicle.
He is scheduled to appear before Halls Creek Children’s Court on Monday.
The victim remains in a critical but stable condition.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant CCTV/dashcam footage has been urged to come forward.
