Multinational chain and beverage giant Starbucks is rolling out its iconic drink selection in WA for the first time on Thursday and locals in Perth’s southeast can have the first taste.

Signature drinks such as Starbucks lattes, the caramel macchiato, the frappuccino and refreshers are all on the menu of the State’s first Starbucks drive-through store in Piara Waters.

And ahead of Halloween, the drinks list will also include Friendly Ghost White Chocolate Hazelnut Frappucino and cult-favourite, the Pumpkin Spiced Latte.

Fresh food, toasties, cakes, doughnuts and pastries will also be available in-store.

Starbucks Coffee Australia chairman Michael Smith said the opening of the Erade Drive location was a milestone for the brand.

“This vibrant and rapidly developing area in the southeastern suburbs offers an incredible opportunity to bring our unique coffee culture to the community,” he said.

“We are excited to be part of this growing neighbourhood and look forward to serving our customers with the quality and convenience they expect from Starbucks.”

The drinks giant has previously touted its WA push will create more than 200 jobs and revealed this week 65 baristas had already been hired for the brand’s new WA team.

It has also partnered with local suppliers such as Brownes Dairy and Morley-based Little Home Bakery.

Starbucks confirmed this week its next Perth opening will be a drive-through in the northern suburb of Clarkson, due in a few weeks.

A slew of metropolitan developments intended to include Starbucks cafes have also been passed in recent months, including drive-throughs in Bayswater and Hammond Park.
