Andrew Forrest’s Fortescue has lost yet another senior executive, with Asia Pacific energy boss Eva Hanly understood to have parted ways with the company.

According to The Australian, Ms Hanly’s departure comes amid ongoing upheaval in Fortescue’s energy division after a restructure, which saw former Argentinian rugby start Gus Pichot promoted to the newly created position of regional director for energy.

The latest exit comes just weeks after Judith Judson, the chief executive of the UK-based Fortescue Zero, left the role after less than 12 months in the job.

In a statement at the time, a Fortescue spokesman said Fortescue Energy chief Mark Hutchinson recently took on the additional role of leading Fortescue Zero.

The Nightly understands that Ms Judson stood down to be with her family in the US.

Fortescue Zero was previously called Williams Advanced Engineering, an offshoot of the British Formula 1 team Williams.

Fortescue bought the business for $334.8 million in 2022. It specialises in developing renewable battery technology.

Ms Judson’s departure comes after a laundry list of resignations, particularly among female executives, across the top ranks of Mr Forrest’s Fortescue empire.

Key lieutenant Julie Shuttleworth also quit as Fortescue’s director of global growth last month.

Ms Shuttleworth was the first boss of Fortescue Future Industries in August 2020.

She served in the role for two years.
