Andrew Garfield’s unusual accessory set him apart from other stars on the red carpet at the London Film Festival.

The Spiderman star, 41, rocked up to the screening of We Live In Time carrying a lifesize cardboard cutout of his co-star Florence Pugh who was absent from the event.

Garfield looked handsome in a teal suit with flared trousers, a striped shirt, a paisley-patterned scarf and black loafers.

Flashing a cheeky smile, he posed with “Florence” and struck a few silly poses for the cameras.

After modelling with his 2D friend and fellow actress, he briskly tucked her under his arm and walked into the cinema.

His hilarious stunt comes after the pair revealed they got a little carried away during their “passionate sex” scene for their new movie We Live In Time.

Garfield admitted that things got pretty steamy because they didn’t hear the crew call “cut” during filming.

“The scene becomes passionate, as we choreographed it,” he said.

“And we get into it, as it were, and we go a little bit further than we were meant to because we didn’t hear ‘cut’ and it’s feeling safe.

“And we’re just kinda like, ‘Ok, we’ll just go into the next thing, we’ll let this progress and we’ll just carry on’.”

The film follows budding chef Almut, played by Pugh, who finds love with a recent divorcee Tobias (Garfield) and the couple eventually become wrapped up in a long romance.

But their love story is fractured by a life-changing discovery that forces them to make an impossible decision about their future.
