Beckhams at war: Brooklyn sends Victoria and David legal letter ordering contact only through lawyers

The Beckham feud has hit a brutal new low amid revelations Brooklyn Beckham ordered his famous mum and dad to only contact him through his lawyers.

In an exchange of legal letters during the English summer, the Beckham’s eldest son said he didn’t want his parents to contact him, make public statements about him or tag him on social media, the Daily Mail reports.

“David was told to speak to them via Schillings (Brooklyn’s lawyers). That was the only way for them to communicate,” one source told the Mail.

What prompted the extraordinary step, those close to Brooklyn, 26, say was a series of “nasty” briefings about his wife Nicola Pelz Beckham, 31, including one suggesting he was a “hostage” controlled by his “missus”.

It is believed a breach of demands outlined in the legal letter could explain the sudden social media blocking spree he went on just before Christmas, where dad David, mum Victoria and his siblings were all exiled.

His parents had been viewing and “liking” his posts, and, it seems Victoria “liking” one about cooking roast chicken was the last straw for Brooklyn who acted quickly to block his entire immediate family.

Responding to the online drama, brother Cruz posted on social media ““They (my parents) woke up blocked . . . so did I.”

The mass blocking came after weeks of frustration from Brooklyn and his wife who, a Mail source said, found the social media posts from his parents upsetting and leaving them worrying about what would be posted about them next.

Nicola, too has now blocked her estranged in-laws.

“Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heart-breaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents,” one source told The Sun.

“The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately not publicly.

“He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.”

The relationship between Victoria, David and their son began crumbling in the lead up to his wedding in April 2022, amid reports Victoria and Nicola were at loggerheads.

Things took a turn for the worse when Brooklyn failed to turn up for David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May last year and didn’t publicly congratulate him when the soccer star was knighted.

Brooklyn also reportedly snubbed his entire family in a speech while he renewed his vows to wife Nicola in august last year.

At the time a source close to the family described the decision to keep the Beckhams off the 200-person guest list as “final kick in the teeth” for David and Victoria, who only discovered the vow renewal had taken place after reading about it online.
