Cruz Beckham has weighed in on his family feud. Not with a statement, but with a sense of humour.

Rather than addressing the escalating drama directly, the youngest Beckham brother has been quietly liking viral memes poking fun at his mother Victoria’s dancing, after Brooklyn claimed she “humiliated” him during what was meant to be his first dance at his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz.

In his explosive statement posted to social media on Monday (Tuesday AEDT), Brooklyn said he had “never felt more uncomfortable” after Victoria hijacked his first dance, claiming she joined him on stage and danced “inappropriately” in front of their 500 guests.

“Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” he wrote.

“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

As the internet erupts with memes, jokes and speculation over what that “inappropriate” dance might have looked like, Cruz appears to be joining in on the fun.

The 20‑year‑old liked a post from enquiretheitem captioned “The wedding dance in question,” featuring a throwback clip of Victoria performing Not Such an Innocent Girl at the 2001 TMF Awards, where she moves suggestively onstage in leather trousers and a plunging black top.

He also liked a video from comedian Olly Hume, who posted a skit in which he pretends to be the DJ at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding.

“And now for the song requested by the mother of the groom for her first dance with her son,” Hume says before playing Pony by Ginuwine, an R&B track that rose to iconic status after Channing Tatum’s striptease in Magic Mike.

“Big shoutout to @cruzbeckhamwho is laughing with us. What a sport!!” one user wrote in the comments, while another added, “Cruz Beckham trolling is the best thing so far in 2026 lol”.

Even DJ Fat Tony, who reportedly played at the wedding, has joined the meme frenzy. He shared (and later deleted) a clip of Amanda, a character played by Lucy Punch on BBC sitcom Motherland, dancing wildly, captioned: “POV Victoria Beckham dancing during Brooklyn’s first dance”.

The DJ wrote, “Actual video footage, it’s true, I was there!”

In his scathing statement, Brooklyn also added claims that Victoria refused to make Nicola’s dress last-minute, and the family dismissed her as “not blood” and “not family”.

The couple renewed their vows in August 2025, with an insider revealing at the time they wanted to “create a memory that would stay with them forever”.

There were initially question marks over why they would renew their vows after only three years of marriage, but Brooklyn made it clear in his statement that they wanted a re-do.

“We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
